Pastel Portraits with Yuki Horikawa
March 9 - 30 | (4 Saturdays) 1-4pm
Pastel Portraits Class Description:
These classes will help intermediate/advanced students develop the fundamental skills and foundational understanding in order to create their own pastel portraits. In the class I will emphasize basic charcoal drawing skills, fundamental study of human anatomy, portrait composition, and understanding light direction as the essential elements of a portrait. A model will keep the same pose for a month, allowing students enough time for an in depth study of the human figure.
